Quantitative Risk Mitigation Model for Hydrogen Value Chain

Objectives

  • Study hydrogen value chain in relation to the different Energy sources and end-use applications.
  • Study hydrogen behavior models to identify associated consequences and define safety parameters.
  • Quantitative risk assessment for consequence modeling and risk mitigation of specific hydrogen safety challenge.

Expected Outcomes:
This study will provide detailed and new insights into hydrogen safety and risk mitigation methodologies. A systematic model and algorithm will be developed to trace hydrogen hazards and risk based on the review of hydrogen behavior models. In addition, a machine learning model will be developed to evaluate the safety challenges of hydrogen across the value chain.
